Terms of Service

1. The service

iVow provides wedding websites, digital invitations, RSVP tracking, guest management, and event pages (the "Service"). By creating an event you agree to these terms and our Privacy Policy.

2. Your relationship to guest data

You (the couple) are the data controller for information about your guests; iVow is your data processor. You decide who to invite and what to collect. You agree to:

• only add guests you have a legitimate reason to contact, and honor their opt-outs;
• not add children's information without a parent/guardian's knowledge;
• use dietary/allergy information solely for event catering;
• handle guest data requests you receive (or forward them to us — see the Privacy Policy).

Support access. Our staff may view your event data and, when helping you, make changes you ask for (fixing a date, resending an invite, recovering a guest). Staff actions are logged, limited to what's needed, and never disclosed to your guests. Your private planner (notes and to-dos) is never shown in our admin tools and is shared with no one other than you, your partner, and (solely for support or a data export you request) authorized staff.

3. Acceptable use

• Use the Service for real wedding-related events — not spam, fraud, or harassment.
• Don't misrepresent who you are; don't send invitations to people who never agreed to hear from you about the event.
• Don't upload content you don't have rights to, or anything unlawful or harmful.
• Don't probe, scrape, or disrupt the platform.

4. Content & your license to us

You keep ownership of your content (text, photos, videos). You grant us the limited rights needed to host, transmit, and display it for your event. We may remove content that violates these terms.

5. Payments & plans

Plans are one-time charges processed by Stripe, priced by guest count: Free (up to 30 guests — wedding invitations only), Premium (up to 150), Deluxe (unlimited). Premium and Deluxe add: save-the-dates, bach parties & wedding showers, the seating planner, the budget tracker, all 8 design themes, the personalized welcome video, custom RSVP questions, CSV exports, scheduled reminders, date-change announcements, automated thank-you emails, the daily summary email, multi-currency billing, and guest invitation pages in English, French, Spanish, Punjabi, Mandarin, and Arabic. Feature differences are also shown on the pricing page and in your dashboard's plan picker. Prices are shown before purchase; taxes may apply. Upgrading takes effect immediately and never removes anything you've built. Refunds for unused service within 14 days — contact [email protected].

6. Availability & changes

We aim for high availability but don't guarantee uninterrupted service. We may improve or change features over time; core invitation/RSVP features won't be removed from under a paid event without notice.

7. Termination

You can delete your event at any time. We may suspend events that violate these terms or cause harm. On deletion, guest data is removed as described in the Privacy Policy.

8. Liability

The Service is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we're not liable for indirect losses (lost bookings, hurt feelings at seating-chart disputes 😄). Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

9. General

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada, except where consumer law says otherwise. If any clause is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. Questions: [email protected].
